โSituated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. โ
โAn impressive looking property especially at night. The Concierge staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a good feel with lifts to both floors if required. The rooms are well appointed, modern and everything works well. The double shower was perfect. The spa is something else. It starts as you walk down the corridor giving you a feeling of calm with the music and smells. The staff are great, helpful and no silly rules. โGreat little place to stay with a super comfortable bed. Nice size room with good amenities and a nice little balcony for an evening drink. Or there's a nice pub with good food just downstairs. If you're a light sleeper, the room we were in isn't the best option though as the door to the pub is right below the bed. But we slept great regardless. Definitely worth the money for a nice convenient stay. โ
โEverything really good - except maybe our room could have been bigger but bathroom facilties very good and extra bonus of TWO working EV chargers for overnight charging.โ
โGardens very well kept a pleasure to sit out and relax. Food very good, the ham hock terine starter was great. Sasha our waitress serving breakfast was really lovely, just a glow about her. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were lovely.โ
โNot much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!โ
โLovely clean property, slept 5 people, very warm and cosy in a lovely quiet location on a working farm. Had everything we needed and more, owner was very helpful and generous. Great lication for waljs and visiting surrounding areas within short distances to travel.โ
โOur first time at the Blue Bell, but wonโt be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back! โ
