Limited parking..no lifts working and was not good as i have bad mobility in my legs

Room we were allocated was poor. No room safe, no slippers, broken bath panel. Room was stuffy and required a good airing

We loved staying at the Duisdale House Hotel. Perfect location, right across from the water with a quick path to the beach. The staff were the best. So fun and funny and a joy to be around.

Hotel was great. Vicinity was too busy. No way to drop off luggage with personal car in front of hotel. Concierge was super helpful.

The staff are your greatest asset. They were mostly friendly, helpful and courteous. On my early departure I enquired about tap water and was told no one and none was available. The room was tired and had 1980’s bathroom and a hot towel rail that didn’t function. Skirting was missing next to the dressing table. The menu was poor and the food presented; a feather blade steak, presented in a soup plate. The mash was soggy and the jus had no taste. Veg was a mix of undercooked carrots and stewed green beans. At least 3 of the ice cream selections were unavailable. A black walled dining room with dark brown, wooden tables simply added to the gloom of the experience. A pity because I have stayed at other Holiday Inns and thought I had identified a good product. Again thanks to the check and restaurant staff. Disappointed on the response on the check out member where, little effort could have resolved a request for water which, was for medication. I could see lights on in the kitchen area.
