"Everything worked, the staff, the amenities, restaurant, bar, check in and out, car park. All very efficiently run and reasonably priced. Tidy and good looking place, perfectly situated to explore Cambridge, right opposite the Botanical gardens and with the Railway station less than a 10 minute walk. Nice breakfast and although we did not indulge, they had a perfectly reasonable evening menu. Would stay again for sure."

"The staff were so kind and helpful when I arrived, and helped me with my luggage and suggestions for how to get to the city center. The hotel was clean, cool, and quiet, exactly what I needed. It was so easy to get there from the station, too. The cafe was great for snacks and drinks, and local amenities were perfect for light meals. The only down side was they had run out of ice and it was very hot, so ice would have been nice. I will certainly use this hotel again."

"Good location near city center and all with walking distance of main attractions, restaurants and shops. Hotel offers limited but expensive on-site parking. We had a superior double room which was a good size, clean and functional with most things you needed. Areas for improvement include the noise from live bands and DJ’s at wedding parties in the hotel both nights of our stay although generally quite after 11pm. Internet in room was poor - very slow to connect and access speed was so poor it wasn’t worth trying. Breakfast service was ok - nothing special"

"The room was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the shop was a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel and the selection of goodies was just right. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be going back! The only thing to mention is to be warned of ridiculous parking costs! Nothing to do with the hotel as car park was managed separately, but we parked for just under 24 hours and it was £53! Highly recommend the Wilde 👍"

"We stayed here for one night on a Sunday and it definitely met the expectations for the price range. Beforehand I had requested anything complementary as it was our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that we were granted an upgrade to a junior suite on the top floor, however bare in mind it was a Sunday and not very busy. They kindly decorated the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Overall, a very peaceful stay for both of us, helped by the lovely staff and topped off by a lovely breakfast. The main attraction was definitely the pool"
