"My husband, two children, and I arrived expecting a relaxing all-inclusive vacation, but our experience has been extremely disappointing from the start.Our first room was unacceptable. The main door handle was broken, the air conditioning did not work, and both refrigerators were not functioning, leaving everything warm. Neither bathroom was properly stocked with toilet paper, towels, or washcloths.We reported the issues immediately. The supervisor seemed annoyed and said they would be fixed, but nothing was done after waiting a long time. My husband returned to request a new room, and we were eventually moved, but the second room was only slightly better and still far below expectations.After dealing with room issues for hours, we went to eat. Most restaurants required reservations 14 hours in advance, leaving only the buffet. The food was very poor. We then tried the sports bar, where we ordered a cheeseburger, nachos, chicken wings, and chicken tenders. The burger was undercooked, and the chicken items appeared unsafe and poorly prepared. Additionally, this resort advertises as all-inclusive, yet many drinks require extra payment with only a limited selection included. Overall, the service, food quality, and accommodations have been extremely disappointing. For the $5,000 spent, the experience does not reflect the standard expected of a resort of this type. They let people smoke cigarettes everywhere in resort including lobby with young children, nasty. Terrible ZERO STARS"

"The rooms need a serious cleaning and upgrade. I was told I was in a Premium room; however, nothing in the room felt or looked premium. The refrigerator leaked water all over the floor, and the bathroom toilet leaked onto the floor, which constantly smelled like sewage. On two occasions, after my room was supposedly cleaned, I came back to find small black bugs crawling on the sheeting and top cover. From the looks, this resort is way older than the nearby sister property, the Palace, which I had the opportunity to explore."

"Compramos un hospedaje para el hotel caoba lagoon y cuando llegamos el hotal aun no estaba disponible nos envian para el costa bavaro y se arruino el cumpleaños que tenia solicitado en el otro hotel tambiem no servia la nevera en la habitación tampoco habia plancha para ropa y la reservacion para los restaurantes siempre es un problema"

"The staff at this hotel are outstanding. We had booked 4 rooms which were all fantastic. The facilities were excellent and the rooms were spotless. Very comfortable beds and well furnished rooms with everything you could need. We ate and drank in the lovely open bar area. The food choices were great and all of the meals looked and tasted delicious. The bar staff were friendly and mixed fantastic cocktails. Best mojito so far! The breakfast menu was also great and the 3 girls who served us were polite, friendly and efficient. We only spent one night here but it was very memorable and an amazing start to our holiday. A special mention must go to Francisco behind Reception. He was always cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a bit of a problem with our taxi and he helped sort it out. We all highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again next time we’re in Punta Cana. "
