"Parking is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. It is confusing the first time you do it. The hotel room was nice and big but it is outdated. Needs a full remodel. Everything was clean. No pool on the property, and breakfast was lacking to say the least. Cereal, fruit, croissants and bagels, that’s about it. Parking is $15 a day in that garage they tell you to park in. A couple beaches less than 10 minutes away. Nice restaurants around the corner like Cruda and El Taller Taco de Diseño. There’s also a Brazilian steakhouse but we didn’t go there. My daughter has a burrito from Cruda 3 days in a row."

"If you like a place with uncomfortable beds, dingy unkempt rooms and little or no hot water, then this is your hotel! After two days of super short like luke warm showers and almost no sleep due to traffic noice, pedestrians screaming while walking by and city trash trucks, we are happy to be gone. Recommend carefully reading the reviews on this place. That said, the location is nice and the young staff are pleasant. Their argument that the hotel is do old it can’t have the proper infrastructure needs refinement. A hotel should be clean, provide hot water and muffle at least some of the noise from other rooms, the hall and the street. "

"Property and staff was nice. If I stayed there again I would request a room in the back away from the street noise. The Premium City room view was a joke because only one door/window opened to the view and it was not pleasant. Barely got any sleep all night due to outside noise and vehicles in street "

"Alma San Juan is an excellent choice for sold San Juan. Gorgeous property. My only complaint is that the water in our shower did not get hot enough. It was lukewarm if that."

"Not for us. Noisy at night with bars, clubs, and drunk people, sometimes within the locked, gated premises. Very steep ladder to bed in loft. My wife had to sleep on the sofa couch below because she was not comfortable on the ladder. Although initial correspondence from the manager was good, there was no follow-up to address our concerns. Apparently, after speaking with other arriving guests, this was their experience as well. On the plus side, if none of the aforementioned issues is of concern, the location in Sn Juan Antigua is very walkable to most of the area."

"The room was very clean. A/C worked great. Very nice facilities. The area around the hotel had many shops and eating venues within short walking distance. It also was a short walking distance to the San Cristobal Fort/Castle."

"The room was well laid out and had many amenities. I especially enjoyed the balcony. The only reason I would not give it 5 stars is the bed. The bed was too low to the ground, making it hard to get out of, and the mattress sagged in the middle making it so my wife and I naturally rolled together in the middle."
