“Quirky”

“We had a beautiful, large room with a canopy bed. All the furniture was elegant and antique in style. We had a huge bathroom with double sinks. The room came with robe and slippers. Our room was on the second floor reached by a spiral stone staircase. They brought our luggage to the room. Dinner is available and we enjoyed our meal in a stone walled room. Breakfast was served there too. It has a lovely courtyard where they served drinks. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend...

“This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December!...

“Delightful villa featuring incredible vistas and wonderful service . Quiet, clean and well decorated room and comfortable king bed . Breakfast was outstanding too featuring many locally made condiments . Gracious and friendly host . Close proximity to the city and historical venues . ”

“Un excellent moment passé au sein de cette magnifique chambre d'hôte. Nathalie et son mari sont au petit soin, à la recherche du détail qui compte. La maison est grande et spacieuse, la chambre magnifique avec un lit très confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la quiétude du lieu... Le soir nous avons eu le plaisir de nous joindre à la table d'hôte concoctée maison avec une grande majorité de produits bio... Vraiment je ne peux que conseiller le Grenier Occitan pour une pause serène...

“It was a very calm and beautiful hotel, but its hygiene was awful. During my stay, there were hundreds and thousands of small red spiders in the room. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. ”

“Un hébergement très pratique et fonctionnel, très agréable avec une entrée indépendante ce qui permet de ne pas déranger les hôtes. L accueil est chaleureux et les bons plans sont au rendez vous. La piscine est un plus tout comme les petit déjeuners copieux et fait maison! Idéalement placé à quelques minutes seulement de la cité de Carcassonne! Allez y les yeux fermés!”

“카르카손 요새까지 접근성이 좋은 호텔이었고, 유료이긴 했지만 비교적 저렴한 가격에 제공된 아침식사도 맛있었습니다. 또한 카르카손 요새를 조망할 수 있는 작은 테라스가 있다는 점도 맘에 드는 요소였습니다. 다만, 옛날 건물이라 엘리베이터가 없어 짐을 옮길 때 다소 불편함은 있었습니다. I'm very satisfied with my stay at Hôtel Du Pont Vieux. The staff were all kind and everything is almost perfect. The only disadvantage is about a lift but this is already mentioned by the hotel owner, so I was okay with it.”

“Aardige plek bij watermolen, langs doorgaande weg. Zelf erg op netheid, schoon, stofvrij en hygiene. Bovenstaand had dit verblijf niet, aardige gastheer dat wel maar dat is normaal toch. ”

“The room was large and clean and well-appointed. The gentleman who seemed to be the manager was very kind and accommodating. Food was good. Front desk clerk who checked us in argued that breakfast was not included for our price, and I had to pull up the Expedia receipt details - AND she insisted on calling the manager before she honored it. That made for a rough start to our stay. It is not conveniently located to the walled city - I would have probably booked something closer. However, parking...
