"Great spot for Yosemite. I stayed one night, then left for a 4 night trek and retuned after for another night. The staff is lovely, very nice and pleasant. That said, the Hotel itself seems very corporate, there is NO bending. Dont even bother asking, the staff will smile at you and very politely say No, to everything you ask.
For instance; I emailed them a week before my arrival; no response at all. So I called to say, I land at 1130am, I have an hour drive to you, can I get in a bit early, No. Ok... if I get there early, can I drop my bags and head out for lunch while I wait for my room; No. Since I'm returning in a few days for another reservation, do you offer storage for the items I'm not taking on the trek, No. My return flight is late in the evening, can I get a late check out; No.
Again, the place is as described and offers good accommodations and a fantastic hot breakfast for the price. I'm just saying, they will quickly say No to every other request you may have."
