"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"The Villager was so well done. The only thing we wished for was a table to eat our breakfast. We asked the staff for plates and bowls and they got them out of storage for us. The room was beautiful and some very clearly cared about each decorative detail. We will definitely stay here again."
"Check-in was very quick & staff helpful at showing where everything is located. We unpacked & were relaxing in the room when we heard water dripping & discovered water leaking from the bathroom ceiling (we were on 1st flr). Called the front desk & maintenance came to access the situation. They determined it was best for us to be moved to a new room. They were quick to assign a new room, but it was a hassle to repack/move. The new room was very similar, but nicer furniture & the bathroom wasn't as updated. Parking was easy to find for both rooms we had. The bathroom showerhead is very low & the water temperature isn't consistent. On our 3rd day the toilet wouldn't flush. Called the front desk & was told we would have to wait 2 hours as maintenance was at lunch. I asked if she could bring a plunger & I'd do myself as we were leaving in an hour & needed to use the restroom. It wasn't clear what her response was, but a plunger never arrived. We tried flushing several more times & it finally unclogged. They do not service the rooms unless you ask. Our trash was getting full but we had extra bags & just took to outside trash bins ourselves. Beds were comfortable & pillows flimsy, but had 3 to a bed. The AC in both the rooms we were in were very loud, sounded like a plane about to take off. The AC didn't run often enough. We had it set to 68, but it would get hot in between. Restaurant burger is pricey, nice they had take out. Restaurant needs an upgrade. Indoor hot tub worked well."
"Great family friendly resort near northern entrance of Yosemite. Most commonly visited park sites are 45-1 hour 15 minutes from the hotel. Great amenities including a game room, pool, outdoor play area. Staff at the recreation desk was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping us plan our days. Food is resort pricing but as expected."
"This is a great little out-of-the-way location for a couple of nights stay. it has rustic cabins that are connected. The staff was extremely helpful, but this is not a five star motel. The biggest drawback was it was right next to the highway with a lot of road noise, however, the staff did provide ear plugs. The rooms had very comfortable beds and the rooms were clean. Space heaters for heat and portable AC unit for cooling. For short stays, I would be happy to stay there again."
