"The rooms we had were nice with a beautiful stone fireplace and a lovely balcony view of the Deschutes river. The place was pet friendly so we could take our 2 dogs. Staff were pleasant and helpful. They had movies playing every night which was a thrill for my granddaughter. There was access to fish a world class fly fishing river. There was a lovely nature trail just a couple of blocks away. We attended a concert during our stay and were pleased to find out that they had a shuttle service to the venue.
On the downside, the outdoor pool and hot tub were both closed for maintenance. There are no elevators which was an inconvenience due to some health issues. The entrance door to the building would stick periodically so we often had to take a different exit or entrance that meant another flight of stairs. We reported it multiple times to staff during our 3 night stay and other guests confirmed that they reported it too, but it was never fixed during our stay. Our coffee maker was missing a part and wouldn’t work, but the staff quickly replaced it when we reported it. There are no microwaves in the rooms.
Despite the issues we experienced, we loved our stay and definitely will return the next time we take a trip to Bend!"
