โThis Mom and Pop hotel is perfect if youโre on your own. I was greeted by the nicest hotel neighbors and we shared a bonfire later. I felt right at home. โ
โWe had a nice stay at General Stanton. Itโs a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.โ
โSo impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, clean rooms, beautiful grounds, amenities that are included! We will definitely be coming back next year! ๐โ
โThey did not refresh our towels. Maybe they are super eco friendly, but they removed dirty towels and didn't give us replacements. We had to keep asking for more towels our whole stay. I don't understand why they would not give us any new towels. This is the main reason for the 3 ratingโ
โAccess to beaches. The pass was well worth it for parking at the beach if youโre staying. More than 3 days. Most parking was taken , so that was very helpful. Restaurants were very busy. Thatโs to be expected. Venus I highly recommend, great food & staff. โ
โI just love this motel! It is as clean as a whistle and right across the street from the necest beach. A short drive to restaurants and shopping. I'll be back again and again. โ
โThe staff are very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is right on the beach, which itself is beautiful and has a remarkable shoreline. In addition, the inn is near some great restaurants on the beach and in nearby towns. I have been going here for years and often see the same people. It is an inn that you will want to book summer after summer.โ
โGreat location. Friendly staff. Walkable to shops and dining. Private beach with bar. Rooms were clean, updated. Comfortable beds. Just a few minor issues for me, no in room coffee maker, low shower water pressure and no blackout shades. Would stay here again. โ
โNewly renovated. Clean and comfortable, particularly the bed. Would be helpful to have hairdryer and iron.
