"This is one of the most satisfying and interesting places I've stayed in a city. Close to Wenshu Temple and a fun market and pedestrian street lined with tea "gardens", the hotel itself has beautiful, peaceful architecture and the staff are wonderful and very helpful. And it was an amazing value for the money and where we stayed. Very walkable area and close to great local hotpot places and bubble tea."

"Overall, a very nice and very well-maintained hotel. Generally happy with my stay. Just a little surprised that the Guest service department messed up and sent me an “URGENT” email about me not checking in and failing to make payment after I had already checked in and paid in full with deposit the night before. This should not have happened in a big hotel like Marriott. Otherwise, a great hotel and very pleasing stay!"

"The property is old and it looks nothing like the picture it’s showing online. When request to extend the stay for one more night, the hotel asked you to make another separate booking which is so unnecessary while they have availability. Staff are not helpful and misleading informations are given."

"Room ventilation does not work, so had to open window to keep it cooled with fresh air. Front desk staff was helpful, able to receive package delivery on behalf of me. Unfortunately the hotel could not accept international visa credit card so had to pay cash. Would like to call on the hotel to be more environment friendly, there is no need to change towels every day, but housekeeping staff was trained to clean up rooms every day despite saying no need. I went there for business and having difficulty to find restaurants and other facilities. The entrance was under refurbishment, so both me and the taxi driver had a hard time to find the hotel. "
