โMy boyfriend and I stayed for our one year anniversary and it was such a romantic getaway. They made the entire time special, with dessert and champagne in room every night, decorating our door, and making sure we were pampered the whole time. Food was good - would rate it 3.5/5. Seaweed was controlled on the beach and there was plenty of pool chairs. The night shows were a whole production and phenomenal. โ

โWe loved our stay at El Dorado Maroma! The resort is the perfect size for a couples getaway. We were very happy with all the additional perks, including the hotel transportation and the catamaran and snorkeling tour. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They worked hard every morning to clear any sargassum that accumulated on the beach. The spa services were top notch and we enjoyed the food at each restaurant. Make sure you visit the Taqueria for lunch. We would definitely recommend...
โProperty is beautiful and conveniently laid out. The rooms and bathrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. Great gym. Would have liked more dining options and pricing is somewhat excessive especially for food and drinks at the pool. Definitely recommend Casa Abuela. โProperty grounds were amazing with jungle like atmosphere, Myan ruins, multi walking trails (one underground), beautiful scenery, cenotes and wildlife. There is a family of 29 spider monkeys that life at the resort along with a small zoo of rescue animals and cats. My family never had a problem getting a lounge chair at waterpark, any pool, or at the beach. Food was better than expected for an all-inclusive resort. โ Booked this property last minute, got on a flight down there, took a taxi to the property only to find out they canceled the reservation. I never received any notification and it took me contacting them to have them tell me they cancelled it. Here we stand, a family of 5 with no place to stay. Had to take a taxi back to the airport and get booked on the soonest flight back home. I would not recommend staying here, and Expedia was no help either, all they said was โsorry for the inconvenienceโ. โ
