“Great staff, lovely chilled spa area, great stay”

“This was the perfect place for it stay, perhaps one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. Really comfortable lodgings with friendly staff.”

“The friendliest people in the world down in the pub”

“From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty in the stunning castle. Our bags were immediately taken to our room in the tower, reservations for dinners, suggestions for hikes and exploring and help with arrangements for our departure in a couple days. “Electricity out, hot water out, poor wifi connection Spacious room ”

“The cabin/cottages were nice, and updated. The restaurant Palomino and main building is getting dated and service is falling off. The breakfast was great as usual and most staff is friendly. Wifi is terrible and non-accessible or very slow at best”

“Hotel was excellent for a single night stay. Bar was very nice, but pricey. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choice and excellent menu choices were tasty. Room was adequate, with good WiFi and TV reception. Was a very dark room, but this is part of the hotel vibe, may not be to everyone’s taste”

“Check in & parking was easy, with plenty spaces (for a charge - cheaper at weekends), and the staff were lovely. The hotel seemed well staffed and busy with other guest, which is always a good sign. The rooms were lovely, clean and fresh with hand-soap and plenty of towels. We only stayed one night and the room was quiet, the bed and bedding was soft and comfortable and the air conditioning was a pleasant temp to be able to sleep. We will definitely consider this hotel to stay in again.”
