"This was a good place to stay, I would have given it 5 stars but they made me go through a pre-arrival process online and repeated the same questions, identification process and credit card taken even thought I had just completed this process earlier including the signature. "The hotel sent an email the day before arrival saying my reservation was cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances". There was no additional explanation given. No refund was mentioned either and I was told to refer back to Hotels.com for any possible refund. This was the weekend of the local University's Homecoming/Student Preview which I was attending so it was impossible to find a replacement hotel on such short notice. My friends in the area said it was a good thing to not stay here though....
