โIf you are looking for a great basic โplace to lay your headโ motel, the Downtown Inn fits the bill. Large, clean, quiet room. Great, friendly service from the office. โ
โWe drove from California/Santa Barbara. Rented this on a whim. When we got there, we found it to be Super cute. We rented the black-and-white room. There were other rooms rented, but they had their own private bathrooms. I didnโt realize we werenโt gonna have our own when I rented it. But we didnโt see anybody else on the floor where we were so we didnโt have to share bathrooms with anybody. But we did meet a lady downstairs the next morning who told us about the river. โThe motel owner was so kind and the room was quite clean. I arrived the town late evening so I was not sure where the motel was located. The motel was far away from downtown.โ
โThe room was clean, and renovated. It wasn't as close to Hults Center as listed. We had thought we'd walk to our event, but decided it was farther than we wanted to venture. The only odd thing, was that check in was outside the lobby instead of inside. The clerk as very nice though.โ
โThe hotel was very nice. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Very clean. Room was very nice and quiet. The fireplace was great. My only gripe would be no fan in the bathroom and the sliding door doesn't shut tight when closed. โ
โExcellent property. We were able to get a last-minute reservation at much lower than the usual rates, so it was a pleasure to stay there again. Always fun; great service, comfortable room, walkable neighborhood. Will stay again if the price allows!!โ
