"Check in was annoying. We stopped in at 2:52 pm to check in and told no rooms available and check in wasn’t until 3 pm. I said -OK we will hang out for 10 minutes and come back. Came back at 3:03 and told no rooms available because they were sold out the night before. Didn’t make any sense and she was a bit snooty. Finally a room opened and we kind of got what we deserved. Could have all been avoided with some simple, honest communication. Management needs to work with their employees on that. King room was spacious and we were out in an accessible room. Television was well off to the side of the bed in an awkward position to watch. There were no outlets on one side of the bed so couldn’t have phone plugged in near to you and no clock either. I’ve machine outside of room was very noisy cuz everyone’s getting ice. Breakfast was excellent. Hot food choices changed daily with real scrambled eggs every day. Fresh fruit, bagels, waffle bar, juices etc. all kept fresh and clean. Pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. Could use a few more chairs at the pool but not you get a chair it’s super comfy. Good location right by the Springdale bus line and several restaurants and a small market/liquor store a short walk across the parking lot. They did charge $20 a night to park which wasn’t disclosed when we made reservation. I just paid rather than trying to mention it to the short snooty front desk. A few overlooked matters keeps this from getting a 5. "

"We stayed in 305. Noisy from room above us, Hotel lobby was nice, but room was not as refurbished as the pictures showed. Food was better than average. It would be nice if the pool was set back from the main road & larger. Kids area separate. "

"We were two female travelers who had a wonderful stay at Cliffrose in late March. The location is fantastic, just a 5–10 minute walk to the Zion Visitor Center, where you can catch the park shuttles. While the shuttle stop near the hotel begins service at 8 a.m., walking to the Visitor Center allows you to access the earlier 7 a.m. departures. The grounds along the Virgin River were beautiful and truly the highlight of our stay. We especially appreciated the fire pits and seating areas available for guests to enjoy throughout the day, which made it easy to relax and take in the scenery. Our room with two queen beds was comfortable and well-suited to our needs. It was very clean, and we appreciated both the comfortable beds and the patio space. The motel-style layout made us especially glad to be on the top floor. We were disappointed that the main pool was closed during our visit. As a result, families with children were using the relaxation area’s smaller pool and hot tub. We enjoy kids, but had been looking forward to some quiet downtime. The construction affecting the main pool area was not disclosed until check-in, which was frustrating. Overall, we enjoyed the property, service and the unbeatable location."

"loved that the breakfast was at the restaurant and included in the cost of the room. loved the room. the DVD rentals was a hit with the kids. pool was chilly, but fun. phone didn't work in the room, but the staff was great to look into getting it fixed. walking distance to many food options. loved being able to check out & leave the car at the hotel to explore Zion. shuttle pickup right in front of the hotel. Loved the air fragrance they had for the hallway area. would stay here again. comfortable rooms."
