I did the hike he suggested to the top of the mountain, and the trailhead is just half a kilometer from the B&B, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hike to the summit. The location was awesome. Super easy to walk everywhere, fairly level to get to the Bazaar (which is rare based on what we saw). We walked to the castle as well, a bit uphill, but that’s true of every rental in town. All in all A++ for location. The dinner was absolutely delicious…there meatballs were incredible. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was great, super friendly. The room was a great mix of old and modernized. We thought Silver Hill was awesome. I’ve already recommended it...

We loved this property - the staff is attentive, breakfast was rich and you can also have breakfast in the nice garden, they have free parking. We booked a double room and the reception guy showed us the newly renovated section of the hotel which was recently built he said. The room had a huge and modern bathroom, the room was spacious and spotless. It is a great hotel and would definitely stay again. The only disadvantage was there were mosquitos in the rooms so make sure you bring a mosquito...

It was a privilege to stay in the old town next to the castle in Gjirokaster. High above the modern city, next to castle and the old bazaar, it was not only convenient but an experience of a life from another time. Ever wonder what it’s like living way up on the hill in the castle? Last night residing in the old town, adjoining the castle, was that experience. Too high for any city lights to penetrate, it was dark skies. Only the stars and a sliver of the moon. No sound. Not traffic,...

This place was perfect for our overnight stay! The staff were friendly and helpful in giving food recommendations, advice on money exchange etc. The breakfast was a convenient part of the stay and food was fresh with good options! I would stay again for good hospitality!

Great hostel with friendly staff. Not in city centre but an easy 5 to 10 mins walk to most attractions.
