“Best hotel in the area of Rotherham by a mile !”

“Room was clean and tidy, however the air conditioning is slightly faulty so the room does get very warm and sticky. Receptiotion staff were lovely and very helpful with trying to resolve the issue and even gave us a fan to cool the room down.”

“1 night stay and it was excellent,very clean,comfortable bed and a good choice for breakfast.”

“4.5 stars my A$$. This hotel is a joke. Hasn’t been refurbished (at least) in a decade. Carpet floor is totally damaged with bits hanging randomly here and there. Furniture chipped everywhere. The breakfast was miserable in look & feel. Not even comparable to a basic Travelodge.”

“Things I didn’t like Headboard quite worn which was a bit off putting. Toilet didn’t flush properly but a small bucket was provided. Toiletries were a bit hot and miss (and mix) Clearly a lot of effort goes into the hotel and the staff are really good as was breakfast. There is a large car park right outside the hotel with an overflow which is great.”

“On arrival we were told we were being upgraded to a ‘privilege’ room. Great I thought. Not so. We walked down and along to a very dark and tired room with no view on the ground floor. Yes, it had robes to wear (short, small and scratchy), yes it had a coffee machine (we don’t drink coffee) and a small fridge. I went back to reception to ask if we could see the original room but were told they were full! The large shower head was dripping water not enough to wash in and the fridge didn’t have any...

“As a place to stay it was okay. There was no restaurant as it is being renovated, luckily there was a good Indian restaurant virtually opposite. Parking is £3 per 24 hours unless included in your booking. Breakfast was okay but mainly carbs. Would I stay there again probably not”

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”

“The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door”

“The room was lovely, comfortable felt welcomed by the staff! Enjoyed a few drinks and we went to the carboot on Saturday so that was handy! Really enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay again and recommend to family and friends thanks so much again”

“We loved our stay here. It was just what we needed a wholesome family night away. The food was amazing, the views spectacular and our cottage was very cute, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Definitely highly recommend.”
