“I have pictures balcony chairs and table all moldy, asked for towels and toilet paper and to pick up garbage took 2 days for somebody to come. Undone carpets marks all over the walls they charge $40 a night for parking and also fees for your 2 complimentary drinks right now it’s a maybe 3 star hotel and charging like a 10😡”

“Staff was very friendly. Room was bright and decorated nicely, though small as is to be expected at a historic hotel. It was very expensive when we were there, and I don't think worth the price. It appears to be a grand historic hotel, but there's no lobby to appreciate this -- only the dining room. There's no big historic lobby area, just a normal check-in desk. It is really the only place to stay if you want to be in downtown Lakeland, which is nice. We did enjoy walking around the small town....

“Overall the hotel looks nice. One we got into our room we realized we had severely overpaid for a motel room. Our shower required a secret combination of twists and pulling to turn on. Our toilet struggled to do its duty. Our air conditioning ran continuously and never reached an optimal cool temp. The TV was quite small for the room and we had limited kitchen utensils & dish wear. The pools are nice and redone, small for the amount of people staying at the hotel. The pool bars have pricey...

“Amazing hotel, one of the nicest hotel I ever stayed. The standard room is huge, we had so many luggages, I thought we would need to upgrade for something bigger but nope, plenty of room. The beach is quieter comparing to other hotels, it’s a family friendly hotel, kids have movie nights at the pool, adults had live music in the evening by the fireplace. We had an amazing family holiday and can’t wait to come back next year! ”

“Great location if your looking to stay in the gables. Hotel is very old. Barhrooms need renovations and bathrubs need to be taken out. Bed sort of comfortable. ”
