Over the years my husband and I, have ALWAYS stayed at your hotel. However, on this trip my newly refurbished room felt boxed in, and the phone service was not working to contact the front desk, nor any other services. I immediately left the room and went downstairs to the front desk and kindly asked to be placed in another room, lower down. The front desk clerk very kindly listened to my concerns and changed my floor and my room, and she also informed me that the room has Not been refurbished as yet, and also that construction on that floor was still in progress, which I did not mind, as I know what the old rooms looked like, and I never had a problem with them. So, when I went into the room, I was appalled at the state of the room. I have Allergies, and WOW.. there was an accumulation of dust sooo thick on one of your devices on the wall… just terrible!! I had one half of a roll of toilet paper, the carpets around the edges were a sight of dirt again, and worn out. There was a fly buzzing around, and there was no extra blanket, as the AC for myself is cold for me at nights. I decided to suck it up for the one night stay, as I was too tired to deal with changing rooms again, although, I really should have gone back downstairs and brought someone up to see the condition of the room. For what I paid, I find it completely unacceptable and was saddened to see that your hotel room, even though front desk did tell me that the room was not newly refurbished, that you put me there.
