"AMAZING place! 3 Things to know: 1. Park by the Whale Watch Parking, it's free and recommended. 2. The lobby faces the marina, not the street. 3. This is Iceland, so the room is going to be 80°F when you check in. Open the window and turn your radiator down to 0 or 1 out of 5. Room and balcony views are stellar. "Had the most amazing drying rack/radiant heat on the walls in the bathroom. We were able to dry all our wet stuff from a hot springs visit plus jackets and gloves from spring showers before having to pack up and head home. Bed was firm, pillows nice. Parking was crowded. Breakfast was really yummy with a good variety. Hotel in quiet area but close enough to shops and church and all in downtown. "

"Rooms have Big windows facing the mountains on one side (for the northern lights) or ocean view on the other side - makes both sides winners! Hiking trail to baby waterfall next to property also a highlight. Sauna and hot tub are lovely bonuses. Bfast food was excellent. Restaurant Staff was understanding when i complained about the salty soup and argued for the refund that the waiter said that Icelandics don’t do, apparently."
