"We felt this was a grand hotel finished to a high standard. Very clean and well kept. Our room was very clean. We used the bar which was reasonably priced in comparison to other bars in Dublin. The breakfast was very nice, lots of variety and food was to a high standard. The bar staff, breakfast restaurant staff and house keepers were all very polite. The only issue we had was that our room wasn’t quite ready. We were given our key but when we got to the room, the cleaner was still preparing the room. We found the reception staff the least polite and welcoming."

"recommend Air Coach from airport. faster than local bus. drop off and pickup within a block of property. in the thick of it but in a quiet section."

"We had an early flight back to Toronto. When we walked out of the hotel the Clayton shuttle was there waiting and we were driven right away to the airport. Similarly when we arrived in Dublin we were picked up at the advertised location and driven to the hotel which is in the Airport complex. All in all it was a great experIence. We didn’t get to sample the breakfast because of our early start."

"Very clean. Bed very comfortable. Slept extraordinarily well. Staff was on point, and pleasant. Excellent common spaces with lots of seating, nice lighting and plentiful charging stations. Room size was uncomfortably small, though. Could do with more hooks for hanging jackets, towels, etc. Bathroom light motion detector timer needs to be reset. Lights kept going dark while using toilet & ahower. Wash cloths and mini fridges would be welcome additions."

"We needed a hotel for one night between planes and chose Skylon based on reviews, location and price. We got a very well cared for hotel in a neighbourhood with many options for restaurants and pubs, near a park with exactly the room we wanted for a very fair cost. The city bus was easy—get a Leap card as you pass the SPAR store in Arrivals and catch the 16 or 41, which stops right across from the hotel. The hotel was very clean and warmly modern. Our room was exceptionally quiet and the bed comfortable. We recommend Skylon—and will stay again. "
