“Nice modern hotel, plenty of parking available and EV chargers, rooms clean and a good size TV, restaurant food was good and breakfast was very good, my only complaint would be that my room was roadside and there was road noise throughout the night”

“Great location - very convenient for train station, and fantastic that dogs are allowed to stay, though no extras thrown in for them. No air conditioning though so room was very hot, even though an electric fan was provided.”

“It was a great location and only a few minutes walk to Exeter Quay. The carpets in the public areas looked very old, tired and in need of a clean. Nice clean bed linen but room wasn’t serviced during our stay. Bedroom door had a big gap at the bottom which let a lot of corridor noise and light into the room.”

“The room was basically dirty & scruffy. Linen & towels ok but the floor needed vacuuming & bathroom floor around skirting looked like had never been cleaned. Staff seemed stretched & too busy, most of the dinner menu was sold out & my partners poached eggs on toast resembled hard boiled eggs on toast as overdone. The pub is in a great location & my overall stay was not awful but should have been better. The room was only £65 so wasn't expecting the Ritz but expected a clean room without flaking...

“Lovely clean property with everything you could need. The complimentary food and drink was very welcome. The facilities were of a high standard. We enjoyed meals in the restaurant and the children loved the pool and soft play”

“Room was clean, lift didn’t get swept in the 5 nights I was there and had a lot of dried mud in it. I extended by a couple of nights because my friends were still there and reception man wasn’t very helpful. Had to do it online, even though I would have had an alumni discount if I did it at the desk. The map is entirely unhelpful for the parking if you don’t know your way around campus. “Great stay”

“Room and bed are cleaned well and morning breakfast is served also good. But ventilation is not good. Doesn't have any air conditioner so room is filled with hot air when checked in. Hotel is closed to road so that buzzing vehicles noise comes into window over night make me hard to sleep. Electric hot pot is served with stain inside so there's no way to make tea in the room.”
