“Beautiful property, clean room, very private and quiet. Highly recommend”

“The Elkhorn Lodge is very rustic, and simple. That is okay, but we found it rather dirty. The dresser drawers didn't work (fell out on the floor), old coffee from prior guests still in the pot, lawn furniture on the porch falling apart, lamp shades torn, and in general a run down unkept appearance. The beds were comfortable and the fan kept the room nice and cool. The gentleman in the office was very courteous. We would not choose to stay here again.”

“I did notice the baseboards in the bathroom were full of dust, pubic hair and bobby pins. Definitely an area that could be improved. The location and restaurant were great. The house margarita tasted like tequilla and water with not much of a citrus flavor. - If that's your style you will love them! Overall the visit was great! We will be back!!”

“Wifi didn't work in the room, just in the casino area. Was hard using the AC unit. The wall charger for USB plug didn't work. There was no night light.”

“The pictures that are shown on Expedia’s website must be back from 1960 when the place was maybe new I don’t know when it was established, but I would love to post pictures of what this place looks like now it’s out in the middle of nowhere no security run down disappointed doesn’t capture my feelings had I not been with two other women I would have left the property. I barely slept four hours. My advice don’t go not to this place anyway.”

“This is a fabulous little suite surrounded by trees in a pretty garden frequented by the local bird life and is located in a quiet neighbourhood with easy highway access to the tourist areas. There's also a hot tub and BBQ. The proprietors are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The rooms are spotless. They provide everything, and more, that the average traveller would need. ”
