“Staff very helpful and very nice”

“Our family had an amazing stay at Sonesta Resort! Everything exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, well maintained, and very convenient. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their genuine kindness and outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Check-in was quick and effortless, taking only about five minutes because we had completed the online check-in before arriving at the resort....

“Beautiful resort, I will definitely recommend it, it can use a little maintenance in the rooms, maybe a little remodeling...very clean, I spoke with one of the supervisors (managers) and he was incredible, very pleasant and immediately try to see how he can fix things and make my stay better... The resort is so big that some buildings are too far from the lobby but the view is amazing I didn't even care no to be right next to the water... I will definitely comeback..”

“The Didi is a wonderful place to stay as a couple or even with a family. The beach is beautiful rooms were extremely clean. The staff was wonderful to deal with. We had the most amazing beachfront view would definitely stay again. We usually go to Aruba couldn’t get there this year so we chose state Saint Martin, and we were very happy”

“I had high hopes for this resort, but unfortunately it was a disappointing stay. The only real highlight was the ocean view from the balcony, which was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was in poor condition and clearly needs maintenance. The bathroom had rust around the toilet hinges, mold and grime around the shower, a broken shower faucet handle, and deteriorating caulking around the sink mirror. The jacuzzi tub was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time....

“While the rooms were a little dated, everything was very clean and very comfortable. Grounds were immaculate, great pool and amazing beach. Plenty of lounge chairs. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Night bartender, Jay, was awesome. Hotel is in a nice area, plenty of restaurants in walking distance.”

“We had an upcharge for resort amenities at check in that I would suggest to just include in the booking rate instead of getting surprised at check in. Suggest having more than one hooks to hang towels in bathroom Add mirror in second bedroom. Extremely small elevator very slow. Food was good Beach chairs were plenty so didn’t have to rush to get seats”

“I had an enjoyable stay overall. The hotel’s oceanfront location is excellent, with direct access to a beautiful beach. Since I visited during the low season, the entire area was incredibly quiet, with many nearby bars and restaurants closed and the beach almost empty—which was exactly what I was looking for in my short business trip, and absolutely loved. “Note that this property is legitimately on a hill, if you don’t have a car or driver you will have to walk up two maybe even three hills. We did experience flooding in our shower which was handled very quick but still very inconvenient. Staff did their best to communicate and handle all needs. All of the appliances were in French which wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know. I overall enjoyed my stay but would not book again”
