“Comfortable hotel, nice with a 'homely' feeling rathan than some clinical hotel chain. Reception helpful but be aware there are no evening meals at weekends, although nearby is The Moorings pub, good food and excellent staff service ”

“The staff were welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had everything we needed & even some shortbread with our tea tray, a lovely extra touch! We ate in the bar & again both the food & service were excellent. I cannot rate our stay highly enough & we are looking forward to returning next year & using it as our base for Burghley Horse Trials. Thank you 😊”

“ The room is cosy and quiet, shared toilet is clean (also depending on how other guests behave, of course) and good breakfast. If you are looking for a homey stay and treat, this family-ran guest house will be recommended.”
