“This was our first trip to St. Thomas so we chose a middle level place to act as a base to go exploring. It seems to be a dependable, middle of the road type accommodations. Clean and some amenities. The staff were either excellent or completely awful. We had the most issues when we attempted to use the restaurant on the premises. “The Westin was beautiful. Dirty, but beautiful. There was trash in areas that were there from the day we arrived until the day we left. Everything was expensive: mandatory $40/day valet, mandatory $75/day resort fee. Restaurants were expensive. Glass bathroom door (I like my privacy when using the bathroom). Even after being in a $2500+ hotel, there was a $1000 hold, which we had an additional $760 in fees (valet, resort fee, etc). Overall, I wouldn't recommend.”

The beach is covered with seaweed. There is a strong sewage like odor. All inclusive but no food served after 9:30 & bar closes at 10. The pools are open 24/7 since no access to the beach.
