“We stayed here for our anniversary. We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. The staff were helpful and happy to help when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area ”

“Could do with grab rail by the bath and a mat for the bath as slippery when wet. Staircase handrails very sticky and need a good clean.”

“A beautiful pub with stunning garden and setting, great food and beer selection. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Rooms are a little old but still very comfy and have everything you need. I stayed for business in the area but a great place for a holiday stop as well! ”

“What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

“Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.”
