“This was a perfect place to stay that was close enough to Jay Peak and near the town center for food/groceries/gas etc. The cabins were great, everything we needed and very clean and cute! Very friendly staff and property was well maintained. I would love to stay here again!”

“The Inn is just magical. We have stayed twice now. Both times a late check in after driving 6 hours. This is such a lovely Inn. Clean and adorably decorated. The breakfast is first rate. Sipping coffee on the Adirondack chairs and looking out on the property in the morning is just bliss. We will return over and over.”

I booked through Expedia which said all taxes and fees were included but when we got to the condo we had to pay a little over $50 extra. Wish the price had been what I had booked it. “Smugglers Notch Inn is a charming place in northern Vermont. Just off of Route 15. Part of the property is 200 years old, the other part is more than 100 years old. Everything is beautifully appointed, the staff is very helpful, and there's a hot, made to order breakfast each morning. We would come here again.”

It did seem to look more luxury in pictures I felt the bathroom could have felt a little more luxurious, for details such as curtain not reaching the floor and the floor being soaked. The bed was fantastic one of best I’ve had in a hotel. The rooms were so dark it would have felt much more updated and clean with more lighting.”

“We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was awesome! The room was modern and very cozy. The hotel was located in the middle of Stowe, Vermont so finding a good place to eat isn't hard to find. The fire pit outside along with the hot tub and sauna were also amazing. Overall, we would definitely comeback to a future trip in Stowe. On the side note, the breakfast spread is so good, just hits like home! ”

“The Grey Fox Inn was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Our only issue involved a booking error. We accidentally checked in a day later than the dates that were originally booked. On our second day, we were informed that we did not actually have a reservation for that night. Because we booked through Expedia, the inn would not apply the unused night we had already paid for toward the additional night we needed. “Just be careful about the added fees for tennis. It is not clear on their website that they charge $81.00 for indoor court time. I specifically asked to play outdoors and they directed me to pay more without letting me know the cost up front. The rooms are a little tired (I stayed in the Executive King) and need some updated, but the resort has a nice pool area and hot tub and the free coffee in the morning is a nice touch.”

“Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”
