"We had an amazing stay at the InterContinental Cartagena and loved every minute of it. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean, and it’s also very walkable. Just across the street there are tons of shopping options for souvenirs and clothing, along with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The infinity pool was one of our favorite parts of the hotel—so refreshing and absolutely gorgeous with its ocean views. It was the perfect place to unwind. Room service was fantastic, and housekeeping consistently kept our room clean, fresh, and comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend the InterContinental Cartagena. It exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back! We even stayed an extra day!"

"Honestly, I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It has a great location, it’s very clean, and it offers parking for guests’ cars. The food at the restaurant is good, but above all, the service is absolutely outstanding. Luisa truly deserves a promotion or at least a raise — she was incredibly attentive, respectful, and kind. All of our questions were always answered, and she was especially thoughtful with the guests, always paying attention to everyone’s needs. This hotel is highly recommended. Oh, and I almost forgot the gym is open 24/7. What more could you ask for?"

"The staff at this hotel are really nice and helpful. The ladies at the cafe and the pool bar were very warm and friendly. The girls at the spa were amazing when I got my massage. The maids and cleaners were always smiling and would greet you. Rooms were clean, bathrooms are concrete floors but clean and sanitary. The food at the cafe and pool bar was pretty good and there are other hotels and restaurants within walking distance. You are also a USD $5 cab ride away from El Centro where you can walk easily and safely around to restaurants, cafes, and shops. It’s right across from the beach and a huge Cartagena sign for photos and beach life. Beach across from the hotel is only a 6 out of 10 but I may be a beach snob. There is a beach that you can do a cheap excursion to called El Blanco in Baru. Blue water, jet skis, about a 90 min ride by bus where you see the countryside of Colombia. Highly recommend."

"Loved our stay here. The place was so immaculately maintained, the landscaping was so beautiful, and with live plants even in the bathrooms, the place had the upscale feeling that we paid for. This is expensive - considering this is Colombia, but we lived our stay. The restaurants on site were also very good - breakfast at Calablanca was not the run of the mill hotel breakfast. We had dinner at Bahia twice - everything was delicious. Service staff were super friendly and cheerful all the time Beach was clean and calm. Not much seaweed to speak of Highlight or our trip "
