"Hotel staff were friendly & very helpful at check in/out. Our room was very nice, quiet, and comfortable - King bed & sofa pull out for our son. We requested extra towels and they were brought to our room promptly. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a wide variety of breakfast items and staff cleaned & brought out food as it ran out. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub and fitness center. The hotel is conveniently located off the 5 freeway and 6 minutes from the beach. It was a perfect location and close to everything. Gas station next store - walking distance - has a small mexican reataurant with $1.39 fish tacos that were amazing! We will return to this hotel for sure."

"The hotel is being remodeled and the remodeled rooms are very nice with a very useful kitchenette. Housekeeping is very minimal though. They remove trash and change towels. They do not clean bathroom or sweep the floor. When asked at the front desk they replied they only do it upon request because guests complain if they move personal items. They run out of clean bed sheets one day. Found ants in the room and their solution was to give us an ant trap, which they never cleaned the next day. Front desk staff very unhelpful and unprofessional. Rates high. Great location though and they get away charging these rates providing minimum service. Not even coffee."

"We loved our time at the Omni La Costa. Room was clean, pool was a lot of fun for the kids. We all enjoyed the food and drinks at the pool. Check in was later than expected / advertised (almost an hour and a half after advertised, and we had to check in multiple times on if the room was ready). We’ll absolutely return."

"The location was very close to Moonlight Beach, which was a lovely beach for families. It is very hilly there and there are very few accessible beaches in Encinitas so the location was great for accessibility. It’s an older hotel but they have tried to do a good job of keeping it up-to-date. We had a lovely view of the ocean, which was nice and a nice deck to sit on. Staff was very helpful."
