โWe celebrated our anniversary and stayed at the Tamarack Beach hotel, this was such a great location. We had a beautiful beach view, we were walking distance to the beach and restaurants. This is my go to spot while staying in Carlsbad. โ
โThis place was awesome, and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was great, staff were super friendly. There is also a Mexican restaurant next door that was delicious and conveniently located next to a gas station. Right off of the freeway, and only 10 minutes from the beach.โ
โThe room was clean and good for the price.
However, Soundproof was terrible.
You can hear everything from the next room or upstairs.
There are only 6 parking places.
You have to use street parking. They will find a free parking space for you but you could feel unsafe and uncomfortable.โ
โAn older Tudor-style hotel, kept in sparkling clean condition with modern touches. Comfy bed and bedding, a Keurig coffee maker (with STRONG java), and a nice, spacious shower. Staff are very friendly as well.โ
โThe location of the Hampton was good. The hotel has very recently been renovated so everything is in a new condition.
The staff were very attentive, especially Matt who ensured I was booked into an appropriate room per my preferences.
They offer a good breakfast, perhaps a few more offerings for busy periods would be good. Suggestion would be pre sliced fruit bowls or omelettes made to order.
I cannot fault this hotel, so much so I came back on the tail end of my visit to San Diego for another...
