“This is the second time we have stayed at Peckforton Castle On this occasion we had a nicer room with a fabulous view of the front lawn. “Second time we have stayed. Very clean excellent staff service. Great food and breakfast was very nice too. Highly recommended and also dog friendly too”

“The room appeared quite freshly refurbished. The bathroom had quite a lot of mould in and around shower. It needed a good scrub and it would have been fine. Staff were friendly and courteous. Bar staff worked hard at a very busy party.”

“Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. ”

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants”
