“Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was a good assortment, although there were many comments overheard from the guests if you didn't get breakfast early enough all the hot food was...

“One of the best places we stayed in France. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We got in late (around 9:00 p.m.) and asked if we could eat at the restaurant. Although it was at the end of the evening, they allowed us to have dinner there and it was a spectacular meal. The room was clean and comfortable. So much so that we decided to extend to another day and have the hotel as home base. The next evening was even more pleasant. Highly Highly recommend this place.”

“Un séjour ressourçant en pleine nature ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette cabane indépendante, idéalement située au calme, juste à côté des falaises des Vaches Noires, de la forêt et de Houlgate. C'est l'endroit parfait pour déconnecter. Un tout petit point d'amélioration pour que ce soit parfait : il faudrait simplement resserrer proprement le bouton de la chasse d'eau et revoir le flexible de la douche.”

“When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...
