โThe staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, accommodating. Such a treat to be greeted every morning with a smile and a beautifully prepared and presented hot breakfast. Ample parking and very easy access to this historic Bed and Breakfast.โ
โThe owner was very genuine and welcoming, I enjoyed the sailor motif and collected items in the room I stayed. There was not air conditioning but a fan was enough to keep me comfortable there even in the summer.โ
โLocated in a suburban area just outside of St. John's. Not a vacation destination in itself, but easy access to chain stores and restaurants for convenience and getting set up for a more extended trip.โ
โWe had an awesome time at Mallard Inn. The rooms are newly renovated and beautifully designed. The property is a historic building right next to Quidi Vidi Wharf. As the property just opened under new ownership when we visited, there were minor hickups (like eg. a missing bin in the room) which have been quickly resolved by the attentive and friendly stuff. Parking on site is limited and extended dinner options require a car to go into town.โ
โThe JAG (St. Johnโs) has a really cool vibe, with music playing all the time, a lounge that looks like itโs from a movie, and lots of really neat rock and roll memorabilia. The rooms are clean, modern, and also have memorabilia. The location is amazing-an easy walk to the lively George St. โ
