โThe hotel is very friendly, clean and easy to find. The room is spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The rooms are very sound proof, we are close to the highways and did not hear anything. The hotel is well situated at about 15 to 30 minute drive to all attractionsโ
โRobinsong is a charming B&B. The house is beautifully maintained. Dale and Terry are wonderful hosts and cook the best breakfast ever! We highly recommend Robinsong. โ
โThe key point of this property is what it is named for... the Welland Canal Lock 7. From your patio or balcony you get to watch 300+ meter ships making their way from Lake Ontario to Lake Eire (or the reverse). It's a spectacle. The property is a pleasant spot run by a really nice family. โ
โI had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Welland. The hotel is very clean, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the decor looks modern and fresh. Breakfast was tasty, and having a Walmart right next door made everything extra convenient.โ
"The upgrade that was supposed to be provided depending on availability ended up coming with an extra charge, even though there were available rooms. I was told it was a good deal, so I accepted it, but the so-called floor-to-ceiling view was blocked by window frames, and on top of that, the Marriott side was completely covered in heavy mist and spray, so there was no view at all even well into the day.
To make matters worse, there were moths flying around inside the roomโabsolutely dirty and unpleasant. At the breakfast buffet, fruit was swarmed with fruit flies, and the strawberries were rotten with mold. The staff here are far below the standard of other hotelsโno one greets you with a smile."
