Perfect spot to watch the surfers, more exciting if the conditions are good. Beautiful spot anytime, rent a board if conditions are right and give it a try. There is easy (learner) wave conditions next to the pier, further out is for the experts. Conditions vary day by day. The pier is solid, no current damage from the April storm. Must access by the beach if construction work is ongoing near the entrance to the pier. Plenty of surf instructors in the area. Bring lunch.
