โSuch a fantastic location and a beautiful hotel, the rooms were really lovely as were the bathrooms. Loved the out door seating areas and the outdoor restaurant with pizza oven! Such a little gem so close to everything in Carmel โ

The staff was so friendly, quick to offer support and kind. The room was so cute and cozy. I loved the snacks available for purchase and the tv channels offered!
The complimentary breakfast was 10/10!!! I never felt the need to go to a cafe nearby. The morning breakfast and evening cookies sent to the room daily were such a good touch and offered that traditional customer service and care that I have missed a lot lately.
Lastly the location was 10/10! Nothing...
โGreat stay at Wayside Inn, Carmel-by-the-sea. Friendly and kind staff at the front desk, nice and cozy room with a moody fireplace. Smart TV. 10 minutes to Monterey and 15 minutes to wineries in Carmel valley.

โAs charming as it gets in Carmel. Location is perfect for all you would want to do. Walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Room was nice, bed comfortable. No AC as most places, they provide a fan which is sufficient once the day cools off. Nice place!โ

I read reviews about how the walls are paper thin and its really loud and I was worried. The walls were really thin and I could literally hear everything from neighbors, but it was not a big problem for me cause they all became quite after 10pm. I had my earplugs for sleep. I guess it really helped. Welcome cookies, wine, and the breakfasts were good. I'd stay here again if I visit carmel by the sea. Its a lovely town and everywhere is ultra pet friendly.โ
โThis stay was absolutely gorgeous. Though we stayed for one night, the rooms were absolutely adorable, the vintage cottage vibe was to die for! Everything from the uniquely painted houses, to the flowers in the front yard, this place was super pretty! The beds were soft and comfy, and big enough to share. The amenities were good, water was hot and shower supplies were provided, but overall our stay at these cottages was amazing. Definitely would return!โ
