"Arrived and all but one of the self check-in kiosks were out of order. Waited and used it, only for it to freeze. A member of staff then assisted from his laptop but insisted we needed to pay for the room, even though it had been paid for in advance. He remained insistent, even after being shown the receipt. I refused to pay again and asked him to double check. He reluctantly did so and discovered it had been paid. No apology offered and he checked us in. This took far too long. The room was okay. The rainforest shower didn't work nor did the TV."

"We loved our stay here - the staff are so attentive and friendly- what a wonderful team. A very special stay indeed - great room, bedding, towels and our room was very quiet. Breakfast was super and we enjoyed drinks in the bars. So lovely to stay somewhere that exceeded our expectations- we’ll definitely return"

"I stayed in this hotel as it was before it closed now rooms have been updated but the mattress was terrible .now no bar or restaurant that's a shame. I would stay again ok for a night or two as not as bad price and convenient"

"Good location. Nice rooms. The second time we have stayed and both times there were long queues at the bar late at night. There were two staff working but both struggled to communicate and didn’t understand what people were trying to order hence the long queues."

"We stayed for one night. It was a little warm in the room, but we discovered a fan in the cupboard. Generally a comfortable stay in a good location to get to a show at Theatre Severn. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. Parking was an essential and at £5 per night was reasonable. We hear the hotel is changing hands soon. I hope the standards are kept high."

"The stay was absolutely wonderful and our room was perfect and spotlessly clean. The only thing I would say is the breakfast is basic, and the sausages were terrible. There wasn’t hardly any Gluten Free options for breakfast or for the dinner from the Sky Bar Restaurant. I think the breakfast needs updating to suit more people. The decaf coffee latte was undrinkable (which earlier in the day we paid for)."
