“Beautiful hotel, not sure how it’s classed as a 3* on Expedia when it’s by far the nicest hotel in Newcastle. The rooms are a great size, clean and cosy and you can tell the hotel has thought of the “little things” that set it apart from a generic Hilton esque experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Will be back soon :) ”
“This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.

“Welcoming reception. The food is amazing. Family friendly pub and restaurant. Rooms ok. Toilet cistern... you must press both buttons together to flush otherwise the nouse of water all night long. Instructions would be helpful along with a notification to say milk in fridge. Staff go extea mike to look after you. Bed comfy. Pillows confy too. ”
“Really lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle.
Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.”
