โWhat a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the grounds and the ambiance of the main house. Our room was in the carriage house and it was cozy and nicely appointed with various musical instruments, reminiscent of the man for which this room was named.

โWe stayed at University Plaza Hotel every time we come through Springfield. It's wonderful to have a hotel downtown. The fitness room is always great and the location is perfect. We always end our evening with a walk to Tie & Timber Beer Co.โ
โThe cleaning was good and I was comfortable. Breakfast was takeout in the morning due to corona, but it was nice to have freshly cooked hot sandwiches, yogurt, and drinks.โ
โI booked this hotel for my dad and step-mother and I spoke with the staff on two occasions to try to get an early check in. Both times, the staff were so nice and professional. My dad had nothing but good things to say about this hotel- quiet and safe neighborhood, great areas to chat with friends while he was in town, and clean! Right next to a grocery store as well which can be handy. Will be reserving a room here for myself or family in the future!โ
โVery clean and up-to-date hotel only thing i can say negative was no pool due to repairs, but front desks was very kind and let me know before checking in โ
