“The hotel facilities are too old.”

“When visiting Portsmouth this properties location in between the Historic Dockyards and Gunwharf Quays meant that for our three day stay we could easily walk to all of the major attraction. The fact it has its own car park was also a plus although you could easily travel there by public transport due its close proximity to the bus and rail stations. “We were disappointed with check in. We arrived around noon and all the staff would tell us is our room is not ready til 3pm. Which was fine but they would not tell us the check in process and were quite rude. Grabbed our luggage and more of or less told us to get lost. Very surprising! I think they make more money by not releasing rooms even if they are ready til 3pm because guests hang around and spend money in the restaurant. “A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou.”

“Had a good time. Breakfast was included, wasn't the best breakfast but can't complain. Staff was helpful and really nice. Room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable, could have slept there all day!!”
