The friendly but unobtrusive hosts were always available to help or explain things and told us where to find dining nearby - within easy walking distance, and interesting facts about the town's development. "The location is excellent and the gardens are divine. Our only problem was the winding staircase to our upper floor room. Would not be a problem for younger people but my husband and i are in our 70s! We would stay again if we could be assured of a lower level room."

"We had a room in the attic and it fulfilled a childhood dream of mine! I’ve always wanted to stay in a place with a bedroom at the top of the house. The bathroom was beautiful, but the shower needs frosted glass or a new shade. The bed was very comfortable and being able to control the room temperature was a plus. Beautiful property! "

"My GF and I usually stay closer to Tannersville but wanted to check out this area. This place was perfect. Room was cozy and the mini living room addition to room with a pullout couch made if feel more spacious. Bed was super comfortable and had antique feel of the furniture and house. the self serve (honor system) bar and array of board games made for a nice relaxing night in by the gas fire place. The coffee and grab and go fruit/snacks, muffins was timely and perfect for starting out our day....
