“We loved the history of the hotel as well as the charm. It is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had a fireplace to make it cozier. It could use a little updating, but overall, a wonderful stay.”

“I was upstate for work this weekend and had a lovely stay at Silas House. The owners were kind and helpful, and the space was beautifully designed and well appointed with everything I needed. I thought it was an extremely reasonable price for how beautiful and elevated it is. I hope to stay here again! ”

“It is a lovely facility. The staff is kind and helpful. We had some confusion on checking in, I had apparently booked a room without a private bath or closet. As we were there to attend a wedding, I wanted my own bathroom and a place to hang our "dressup" clothes. They were able to change our room and accomodate us.”
