“I loved this place, and Jeff the host was wonderfully helpful. However, the Expedia pictures are grossly misleading, thus, my poor experience. There is no bar, no restaurant, no breakfast. But my room was clean, this was a historic place, and I would still recommend it.”

“The staff was quite friendly. On a down side, there was no mention at the time of booking that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. One of the reasons that we selected this hotel was the onsite restaurant. This was closed. The construction noise above our room was as horrible as it possibly could be. However, the hotel was happy to relocate us to a different room.

“This was such a welcome stay in Haines. Everything so clean, the staff was so helpful, even let us check in an hour early as we’ve had a very long travel day that had started at four in the morning, spotlessly clean, laundry facilities, and even a laundry basket in our room to use. The kitchenette was well stocked.. Very comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens, and centrally located in Haines to walk around. Would definitely stay here again.”
