“Room was spotless and quiet”

“A great place to stay! The hotel combined two of the officer's quarters from Fort Seward to make a beautiful building. While the building is from the early 1900s, it is beautifully maintained. The owner is very helpful - he went so far as to dig out a socket wrench to help me with an errant piece of photo equipment. Would definitely stay here again. ”

The only issue that I had, and it was very minor, was finding the check-in instructions, but it was no trouble - another guest showed me the way. Well, there was a second issue. “I stayed at Cape Fox Lodge about 6 or 7 years ago. This lodge was on the level of other premiere lodges in the northwest I love the location the views and the architectural style of the lodge. The room was clean. I was disappointed that the building and rooms are well overdue for a refresh. The menus in both restaurants were not as upscale as they were for my prior visit.
