“The hotel is in a beautiful location, near mountain views, a quaint bridge and river. The hotel has a restaurant attached with amazing food. Breakfast was well worth it. The room itself was newly updated. It had a fan, radiator, heated towel racks, and a very comfortable bed. They had cute snacks, water, and hot cocoa in the room!”

“This hotel was amazing. We’ve stayed 8 nights during our England trip this time and this hotel was only 1 night. We should have stayed there more. The 1 night was the best stay of our trip. We will visit Portree again and definitely stay there again. Fantastic breakfast, clean and beautiful room. Very safisfied. ”

Auch war es recht hektisch, ständige Anreisen vo. Besuchern und noch zudem auf Koes sorgten für Unruhe. Insgesamt für knapp 500 Euro die Nacht sehr unverhältnismäßig teuer.”

“Atholl house was one of our most favorite stays during our 14 day adventure. From check in to check out we felt so at home and cared for. It is a place you can truly kick back and relax like you are at home. So many thoughtful details have been put into place to make sure you have a comfortable stay. “Main issue with the property is it’s location, the state of the access road which is narrow and full of pot holes and some of the rooms. They gave us a room in the attic which was more like a closet turned into a room. The bed was small and not comfortable. We were jet lagged and woke up late so couldn’t try the breakfast, but we did try the bar which was good but overpriced.”

“This is a great hotel and would stay there again. Only complaint is pictures on expedia do not match the assigned room. Example, we booked a room with a clawfoot bathtub that also had more windows. The front desk staff acknowledged the pictures do not match the rooms. Overall, great property.”
