“Lovely hotel with a lot of character and history. Great location for sight seeing and scenery. Rooms were nice and cosy. Bit of a squeeze for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) but we only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast to order was lovely. We ate dinner next door at the pub/ bar. ”

Breakfast had minimal items which was in line with expectations from past reviews (milk, cereal, porridge, bread, jam, coffee). My only issue was the shower, the way it is heated doesn't provide flexibility to get the temperature correct (3 settings of cold, luke warm, burning hot). We only stayed one night so it was fine. ”
