"This hotel is undoubtedly family-friendly, but it comes with a lot of foot traffic and noise. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation after two nights. My room was right next to the stairs, and there was constant foot traffic. If you have kids, this place might be suitable for you, but just make sure your room is far away from the pool and stairs. The staff was very kind and made the room cancellation process easy and helpful. "

"Staff was great. Parking was good and close. Place was wonderful. My only issue was.. the bed was really mid. Food was great. I have no issues besides the bed really was .. ehh. Sheets were clean, but pillows and bed seemed budget which was strange compared to everything else. Squeaky and seemed like a spring bed from the 90s. "

"The hotel itself is amazing. You feel like you’re somewhere else not California. The pool is the main vibe. Very cool. Very retro. The front desk staff and valets were great help. Cons: idk if construction was going on but we heard hammering around 8am. Then we heard construction workers in rooms so that was annoying. Coming for rest and getting loud sounds is disappointing. There’s no phone in the room and ice is basically a mission. We also don’t have a garbage can in our room. The water in our shower was also backing up. The toilet paper is cheap. Idk if I’d stay here again but I am glad I stayed because it’s one of those places I would’ve always wondered what it’s like."

"No nightstand, toilet didn't work in our room & the staff seemed put out we asked for a new room becauseif that. Breakfast was ok. Very long line for waffles with only 1 waffle maker. "

"The Dextro is a nice place to stay, but the traffic noise is a bit much at night. Wish I had brought my ear plugs for better sleep. Nice little bar and restaurant that serves breakfast and light dinner snacks. Great bartender! "
