“I loved this hotel! My only (but a major) complaint is that it was impossible to get time by the pool. People claimed all the lounge chairs early in the morning and stayed all day. One of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the beautiful pool, but there was no organized system for hotel guests to be able reserve a spot or to limit the amount of time people can use the lounge chairs. It was very disappointing. But everything else was great.”

“I would rate my stay at the Handlery Hotel a zero if that were an option. I stayed from June 19–21, 2026, with my 6-year-old son. We both have asthma and multiple allergies, including dogs, cats, and dust mites. Our first room was outdated and smelled strongly of dog urine, carpet-cleaning chemicals, and mold. “The room was clean and good for the price. However, Soundproof was terrible. You can hear everything from the next room or upstairs. There are only 6 parking places. You have to use street parking. They will find a free parking space for you but you could feel unsafe and uncomfortable.”
